accomplice
I think she accepts that he must die because he would have revealed their secret and shown the world what the spring can do wich would cause a tragedy

They thought she was just maybe kidding or had forgotten what really happened and her grandmother had said they are elves and that they erased her memory

They hoped that everything got better that the weather gets nice and that every is going to be ok and hope to see a better day
ReplyDeleteKenneth
They plan to open the window and sneak her out and winny had an idea to get the to place her there instead so that the constable wont expect anything.

WInny takes the bottle and puts it into her buro and thinks about that if she drinks it she would help the tucks and take care of them and of course be with jesse.

1.The defence the Foster offer is that the elves Winnie heard must of bewitched her." her grandmother said, " It was the elves. We heard them. They must have bewtched her."
ReplyDelete2. The secret hope that the Fosters foster is that the man in the yellow suit will die. "Her fater said, I suppose the wood will be ours again if that man should....that is, if he dosent`t.`` I can inferre that they don;t want to gie up the woods because it has been in there family for ever.
3. Miles is plan is to take out the window in Maes sell so she can sneak out. Winnie will help by taking Maes place beacause the constable comes evey few minutes to check on her. If Mae is sent to the gallows she will get her head cut off but because she cant die it will do nothing and there secret will be exposed.
4.Winnie puts the bottle of spring water in a drawer. The action shows she beleieves and drinking the water. It hint that she plans to drink the water in the future, so her and Jesse can run away together
1) The defence that the fosters offer for Winnie when they learn that she went to the Tuck house of her own violation they said that the elves had bewitched her. "It was the elves. We heard them. They must have bewitched her." This quote is when the geandma doesn't want to believe that Winnie ran away for her own free will.
ReplyDelete2) The secret hope that Winnie's familt foster is that they might get their wood back if the man in the yellow suit dies. "They received this news with mingled hope and horror, and her father said, "I suppose the wood will be ours again if that man should...that is, if he doesn't..." "You mean if he dies..." This quote doesn't exactly say what their secret hope is, you just have to infer a little bit.
3) Miles is planing to take the window right out of the wall so that she can climb in. ".. He can take Ma's window frame right straight out of the wall, bars and all, and she can climb through." This quote is when Jesse is telling Winnie about their plan. Winnie will help by climbing into the window and fill in for Mae until the morning. If Mae is sent to the gallows, she will be hung but since she drank from the spring, it wouldn't kill her. Thus exposing the everlasting spring.
4) Winnie hides the bottle of spring water in her drawer. "Once she had hidden Jesse's bottle in a burear drawer..." This quote tells us what she did with Jesse's bottle. This action suggests that she believes in the spring and she might drink it in the future.

1. The defence that the Fosters offered Winnie when they learned that she went to the Tuck house of her own volition was that they keep her safe from now on because she was kidnapped when they least expected it and weren’t paying attention to their daughter.
2. Winnie’s family fosters the secret hope that the man in the yellow suit dies so that they can keep the wood for the spring. They also probably want the wood because it provides them with a lot of utilities. They are happy they have Winnie back although the Tuck family is not being arrested since Winnie wanted to go with them and it was not considered kidnapping.
3. The plan Miles has to free Mae Tuck from the jail is to go there in the middle of the night and take out the cell window because Miles knows a lot about carpentry. Once they get it open Mae will escape and they will go far away. “’He knows a lot about carpentry…’”(113-114) Winnie is going to help by going with Jesse at midnight and when Mae escapes she will wrap up in a blanket and pretend to be Mae until they are gone. If Mae is sent to the gallows they will try and hang her. She cannot die so when they hang her she won’t die and everyone will know for sure that they are immortal. If people knew then they would all drink from the spring and lock up the Tucks for good.
4. Winnie hides the bottle of springwater bureau drawer. “Once she had hidden Jesse’s…”(116-117) By her doing this is makes me think that she truly believes the Tuck family’s story about the spring even if she did not before. It hints that in her future she will take the bottle of springwater and drink from it probably when she is seventeen so that she can marry Jesse and live a long, happy life with him. If the would have just thrown out or left it outside that would make me believe that she didn’t believe them and that she didn’t like Jesse.

1. The deffence that the Fosters offered Winnie when they learned that she went to the Tuck house of her own problem wass that the Tucks kept her safe from now on because she was kidnapped when they least expected it and were not watching winnie.
2. Winnie’s family fosters the secret hope that the man in the yellow suit dies so that they can keep the wood for the spring. They are happy they have Winnie back although the Tuck family isnt getting arested because she wanted to be woith them not them kiddnapping her.

4. Winnie hides the bottle of spring water bureeau drawer. It kind of gives a hint that in her future years she will take the bottle of springwater and drinkk it most likly when she waass 17 years old so that she can marry jessee and live a long, happy life with him. If the would have just thrown out or left it outside that would make me believe that she didn’t beleive them and that she didint liike jesse.
